My boyfriend got a new job! I’m so proud of him and so excited for the new changes coming in our lives. We have one more step to overcome – we’re not sure if the landlord will let us stay or not since we were behind on rent. I’m hoping they will be okay with us staying since he finally has a job and we can work on getting caught up with them. If they want us to leave, we’d have to stack a few of his checks to even afford to get us into a new place and I doubt they would get their back rent from us right away if that’s how it goes. I suppose we’ll see, I’m supposed to call her back tomorrow. My man is pretty great though and a good father at that, I’m so glad Paternity-Answers.com for home paternity test isn’t needed. I know he’s my son’s father – they look so much alike! Here’s to better things coming our way!

I thought I’d write a little update post since I’m more over at Alanna Jean instead of here for the time being. It’s more personal over there if you’re interested!

A couple of weeks ago I turned 25! Many people can’t even believe I’m that young. My boyfriend’s uncle kept telling me I’m almost 30. No, my boyfriend is almost 30! He turns 30 in July and then a day later our son will be a year old! It’s crazy how fast this year has gone and that my little man will already be a year old soon!

A couple of my friends that I had in Florida came to see me today. One of them was my best friend growing up and I’d known her since I was 6 years old. She now lives in Indiana a couple hours away but we barely ever see each other. The other is married to her brother and I’ve been friends with her since freshmen year of high school and that was about 11 years ago! The lifetime friend has two little ones that she brought with her and they were both really good with Alex. It was so cute to watch them interact. I remember my friend telling me when we were younger that we’d live next door to each other and have kids the same ages. If only that were true, it would be amazing!

And what is a fixed annuity, exactly? Someone tell me, because I have no idea!
